Vine made from Mother of Pearl and Paua Abalone

Body - One piece African mahogany with Japanese maple vine coming out from under bridge. Players bolt-in neck/heel.

Neck - Hard maple with Bocote fingerboard. 25 1/2" scale, 22 frets, 12" fingerboard radius.

Tuners - Sperzel Trim-Lok

Bridge - Strings-thru with Graphtech saddles.

Pickups- DiMarzio, PAF neck, Tone Zone Bridge.

Finish - Hand Rubbed and waxed

A new BOC themed guitar underway!

BOC Acronym Guitar.

Mahogany body with figured maple top. A variation on an Ibanez style body. The eccentric heel or back-end is some of the things I like to do to make it my own type of design. I did draw this completely freehand. Except for the actual layouts of pickup cavities, neck pocket etc.. This requires precision and I use dial calipers and self -made templates for the layout positioning. (From my old aerospace machine shop days.)

Update:

Will be using some unique and different inlay material for this guitar. Still working with it and we shall see how it does before I do the actual inlay into the guitar. If it works out, should be cool and unique, like the guitar.
